Miri, Sarawak....

Well, 1st of all, Welcome my Sis back to her hometown. She's having one month hols and will be back to Penang soon. I'll be going to Penang with her this time. Hehe. Cant wait to see Perangin Mall, Penang again. Just like to go there lepak lepak even though didnt buy anythng, but very happy also. Siaw one.!! Hahaha..

ALong the Long long and far journey, we got nothing to do besides chatting in the car, eating, drinking, singing, listening to the songs. So, when my dad pump petrol at the petrol station, i went inside the shop to see wad to buy. I wanted to have something to bite so that i wont feel sleepy and keep on sleeping and sleeping along the journey which make me fat. Hahaha. So, finally, i decided to buy a

Chipster~!!

I heard of it and saw lots and lots of Chipster's advertisement, but i never had a chance to try it untill now... Herm,.. The taste quite nice. But still, i like the original one more..

When we at Miri, we stay at Mega Hotel. I like this hotel very much. Good Environment, QUite big room and is in town area. Convenient to go else where...

U can see from quite far coz its unique colour, Blue and White paint. U can just recognised it when u r driving somewhere in the city.

That night, after dinner and all that, its quite late ady. So we just afford to make it a visit to Boulevard Mall and also Seway Shopping Complex.

Welcome to Boulevard!
Boulevard going to open another branch at Kuching and heard that it will be completed Next month somewhere in 17 or 18th dec. Stay tune for it. Its a good news and heard got ice skating too.

Actually the place where 2020 cafe in is called Pelita Commercial Centre, but 2020 is so famous that Mirian just call the whole area 2020. Last time the Survey Jaya Supermarket is just opposite 2020 cafe, it had then moved to where once Metropolitan Supermarket was.

It is packed with people every morning. The food there really nice and cheap!

All port like this will cost Rm2.80 only while u can get Rm3.30 or more expensive at Kuching for this kind of delicious taste ones..

November Trip.... Sabah and Sarawak..

Yesterday, 27th November 2007, I arrived at Kuching at around 6.30pm. I started my trip with my family on the 17th November 2007. My dad drives all the way through from Kuching to Sabah. Its kinda long journey to go, although tiring owes sit in the car but its an enjoyable and worthful trip.

We went to Sabah and gone thru lots of places... All of it, I 1st time step in Brunei and Sabah. Well, I like both places very much.. Sabah i mean KK got lots of nice environment places and i think its better than Kuching.

Well, my trip this time is like this...

Kuching<->Sarikei<->Sibu<->Bintulu<->Miri<->Brunei<-
->Limbang<->Lawas<->Labuan<->Sabah.

This are the places I went for this trip. And for sure, i took lots of picz of those places and food. I will post it one by one but i really need time to arrange all the photoes and divide it according to the place. Its all mix up in my cam..

Elephant + Rh's Point One Cafe...

Last Tuesday, on 7th November, we went to Elephant for dinner. At 1st, when Cynthia told me let's go take dinner together, i ask where and she said Elephant! That moment, i ask her, r u kidding? Elephant?? Seriously i never heard this name before and i dont know that there's this Elephant Cafe located somewhere in Kuching.

Well, that night, we went to the Elephant too Though i dont know where it is. They waited me at the Kuching Park area and lead me the way to this Elephant. Elephant is located somewhere at Ang Cheng Ho area in Kuching and just somewhere at the back of those shops near Kuching Park..

Ah Liong Cafe... Dinner..

I went to Ah Liong Cafe located at BDC area somewhere at the back of H&L Supermarket and also at the back of A1 and B2. My dad said the food here is quite nice.. But i feel that it just so-so only.. Hehe..

Pork Leg. Undeniably this pork is quite meaty.
Normaly we can see lots of fat of the pork but this one, can eat lots of meat.
Which is good coz it's worth but bad coz its Fattening..
Rating: 7.5/10

Bitter ground with black bean and sliced meat.
Rating: 6/10. For me, it's quite tasteles..

Claypot Lamb. Rating: 6/10.
I'm tounge sensitive. For those who like lamb and ur tounge is not as sensitive as me, u might like it with the Lamb-Smell soup. I just cant stand those smell. Fish is also the same. Fishes with strong smell, i would push it to the side too. Haha. So i just like to eat Sweet and Sour fish fillet coz it had no TOO STRONG fish smell at all. :p

Midin. Rating: 7.5/10. This one just nice.
Those fried with garlic and oyster sauce is very nice.
This one just fried with garlic. Healthy food.
All of ur Parents shall like it very much!! HAHAHA..

All together is Rm56. Not very expensive lor. But still, Family Cafe at Hui SIng is still the best choice for me.. hehehe..

Baba Ganoush

Went to Baba Ganoush <- I dont know if i spell the name correctly but the name is something like this. Hahaha. Went to BG ( Baba Ganous）to take lunch with my coursemates before sending our KL's frens off. So we order the food as follow:

Black Pepper Chicken. Rm6. Rating: 7.5/10

Sweet and Sour Chicken. Rm6. Rating: 7.5/10

This is mine.. Butter Milk Chicken. Rm6. Rating:8/10.

Overall, all the food here quite nice de.. I heard that BG is very famouse of their Nasi Bryani and also the curries. But others we ordered also quite nice ar. Go and have a try.
Oh ya. Those prices still not incuded the GST 5%.
It is located just near the Pending Maybank. Its the first row. Same row with the Chopstick cafe.. :P

Sushi And Happy Valley~

Last last week we went to my lecturer's house to have a party. So my coursemates and our seniors together make up the party to be succesful. We went to the lecturer's house at noon to help out. Seniors also make sushi and we are just helping at the side.

These are those dishes that our lecturer cooked and also the sushi that our senior made. Anyway, the salad is made by me n my coursmate. Hehe..

Of coz, these sushis just a simple one. Not like those u can get from those Japanese Restaurant ok? Coz its pricey too mar.. Haha..

Introducing..... Westwood...
I believe those youngsters staying at Kuching sure know Westwood and Richmond Places. Honest speaking, i like Westwood more coz its food mostly in bigger portion than Richmond and Westwood's more tasty. Dont believe me, order this Fish And CHips ( FNC ) and compare.. :P

Almond Chicken. Rm9.50. Rating: 8.5/10

Next, Happy Valley...
Happy Valley is located just opposite the Crown Square shopping centre. I heard the food here quite nice long time ago but just till now got this chance to try up. Well, lets see..

The interior design. Well, it look quite romantic, but quite dark. For those whose blood are sweet, u will be STING by stupid Mosquitoes. I keep on scratching my leg while eating. How disgusting..

Well, among all, chicken chop is the nicest and delicious. The food at Happy Valley is very pricey and in small portion. The food here look nice but the taste is not that nice as the LOOK. I wont intro my fren to come here anymore. I would say, Westwood still the best!! Hehe..
